How To Keep A Healthy Level of Insanity

Lots of my family and friends work in the "corporate" world so I thought I would share this with all of you! If nothing else, I hope it makes you laugh!
1. At lunch time, sit in your parked car with sunglasses on and point a hairdryer at passing cars. See if they slow down.
2. Page yourself over the intercom. Don't disguise your voice.
3. Every time someone asks you to do something, ask if they want fries with that.
4. Put your garbage can on your desk and lable it "IN".
5. Put decaf in the coffee maker for 3 weeks. Once everyone has gotten over their caffeine addiction, switch to espresso.
6. Finish all your sentences with "in accordance with the prophecy."
7. Don't use any punctuation marks
8. As often as possible, skip rather than walk.
9. Specify that your drive-thru order is "TO GO."
10. Go to a poetry recital and ask why the poems don't rhyme.
11. Put mosquito netting around your work area. Play a tape of jungle sounds all day.
12. When money comes out of the ATM, scream "I won! I won! 3rd time this week!"

Tasha Tudor passed away June 18 at the age of 92 at home. What an interesting lady and the life she led. I would have liked to have met her in person. I have both documentary videos and have watched them numerous times. I have a couple of her children's books. I will think of her often when I am sipping a cup of tea and walking barefoot through my flower garden with my Corgi, Owyn!!

Vintage trailer

Thought you might enjoy a picture of one of our canned ham travel trailers. We took our 5 year old grandson to the Black Hills a few weeks ago. What a wonderful trip! Beautiful area and so much to see and do. Reid loved camping and is ready to go again. We hiked, cooked out with the dutch ovens, visited a wind cave but he was the most excited and interested in Mt. Rushmore. I highly recommend the area as a place to visit.

Blogging

Welcome! This is all new to me so you will have to be patient. Not sure why I am doing this actually. Probably because a great place to share with other people. A good friend in Canada blogs and I love going to his site and reading. http://www.nativeshores.blogspot.com/ If you have a chance check him out. Anyway, my camera is not working (or possibly I moved something in error) so will have to wait for more pictures.
My thought for today: Simplicity...to know that you have enough, is to be rich.
